Nominate your colleague(s) for the Sustainability Award 2019

Are you someone who is committed in an extraordinary way or who wants to make UM and its surroundings or society more sustainable? Or do you know someone or a team who has made a special contribution to the sustainability of UM and its surroundings in an administrative, scientific or service related way? Then don't hesitate and compete for the UM Sustainability Award 2019!

Nominate yourself or (a) colleague(s) and send it to sustainability(at)maastrichtuniversity.nl by Wednesday 11 December 2019 at the latest.

A jury, chaired by Nick Bos (vice-chairman of the Executive Board) and consisting of the coordinator and the project owners of the Sustainability Programme, will assess the nominations and nominate a winner for the Executive Board. Of course the nominations will be treated with strict confidentiality.

The Sustainability Award consists of a certificate and a prize of € 7,500.00. The amount is awarded to further implement or expand the idea. The presentation will take place at UM’s New Year's reception on 6 January 2020.

Requirements:

- nominations can be given by one or more people (UM employees).

- the nomination should contain a written motivation (max. 1 A4)

- it has an innovative character and/or so much effort has already been made that it should be rewarded

- previous winners may not be nominated for the same project.
