Master Yourself

Because preparation is key to success!

Master Yourself is a project of the Maastricht University Student Employability Initiative (in cooperation with UM Career Services) and aims to prepare our graduating Master students for entering the job market in the best possible way. Students are offered a unique chance to attend workshops and masterclasses at renowned companies and organizations in the region. Together with mastering new valuable skills, they get the chance to expand their network and get an inside look at how these companies run their businesses.

Are you a Master student at Maastricht University, getting ready to graduate and enter the labor market? If you want to start launching your career the best way possible, take our advice and gain the necessary skills that help you get there. And best of all, it’s completely free!

Are you a company, eager to contribute to bridging the gap between current graduates and corporate skills? Master Yourself will provide you with this opportunity and it will also give you a chance to spot talent and/or future employees;

Curious about what we have to offer?

!!! The 2020 sessions are cancelled due to the Covid19 pandemic. Master Yourself will be back in 2021.

In 2021 we will be hosting new Master Yourself sessions, taking place in March, April, and May.

Students can apply for multiple workshops and/or masterclasses which are being offered throughout these periods. After having attended 3 sessions, students will receive a letter of recommendation upon request.

We even hand out your CV to the company whose session you’re attending. A great way to start launching yourself in the competitive job market!

Meet our Master Yourself Ambassadors

Our enthusiastic team of Master Yourself ambassadors is formed of current Master students of Maastricht University.

Like you, they are actively seeking opportunities to expand their professional network and skills set. Let them convince you why Master Yourself is the way to do that.

Meet them during their promotional activities on the faculties, or contact them on social media.

They will be there during the sessions as well to welcome you, help you find your way, and make sure your CV is passed on to the organizations that are hosting the sessions.
